Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Carefully unpack the kit and identify all components (rail, end brackets, center bracket, S-hooks, screws, and fixings). Ensure you have the necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, level, pencil, and a fine-toothed hacksaw if cutting is required).
- Marking: Decide on the rail's location and mark the positions for the end brackets on the wall. Use a level to ensure the rail is straight.
- Installation: Drill pilot holes at the marked positions and attach the end brackets using the provided screws. Attach the center bracket to provide extra support.
- Cutting (if necessary): If you need to cut the rail, measure and mark the desired length. Use a fine-toothed hacksaw to cut the rail carefully.
- Assembly: Slide the rail into the installed brackets. Attach the S-hooks and hang your utensils.
Compatibility:
The Rothley Utensil Rail is compatible with most wall types. However, ensure the fixings are appropriate for your wall material.
Care:
- Clean the rail regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Dry the rail thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots.
