Before using Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 C3, ensure it meets your vehicle's specifications as recommended by the manufacturer. Check your vehicle's owner's manual for the correct oil grade and any specific requirements.
- Preparation: Gather necessary tools (wrench, oil filter wrench, drain pan) and the new oil.
- Drain the Old Oil: Allow the engine to cool down, locate the oil drain plug, and place the drain pan underneath. Remove the plug.
- Replace the Filter: Remove the old oil filter and install a new one, ensuring it's properly sealed.
- Add New Oil: Once the old oil is drained, replace the drain plug and add the new Castrol MAGNATEC 5W-30 C3. Use the correct quantity, as specified in your vehicle's manual.
- Check the Level: After adding the oil, check the dipstick and top up if necessary.
Compatibility:
This oil is compatible with automotive gasoline and diesel vehicles where the manufacturer recommends API SN, ACEA C3, or earlier specifications for 5W-30 lubricants. Always consult your vehicle's manual to ensure compatibility.
