Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure both the source and destination devices have compatible Ethernet ports (RJ45).
- Connect one end of the cable to the port on your first device (e.g., router, switch, PC).
- Connect the other end to the port on your second device (e.g., PC, TV, gaming console).
- The connection is plug-and-play; no software installation is required.
Compatibility:
This cable is backward compatible with Cat 6, Cat 5e, and older Ethernet standards. It works with any device featuring an RJ45 Ethernet port, including but not limited to:
- PCs and Laptops
- 4K Televisions
- Gaming Consoles (PlayStation, Xbox)
- Routers and Switches
- Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices
- CCTV Systems
- Access Points and Range Extenders
- Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices
Care:
- Avoid sharp bends or kinks, which can damage the internal copper strands and shielding.
- Keep away from excessive heat sources.
- Clean the connectors gently with a dry, lint-free cloth if they become dusty.
- Do not expose the cable to moisture or corrosive substances.
