Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Choose a Location: Select a flat, level, and stable outdoor area for your shed. Ensure there's enough space around the shed for comfortable assembly and door operation.
- Prepare the Base: Utilize the included foundation kit to create a stable and level base for the shed. This is crucial for the structural integrity and proper function of the doors.
- Assemble with Care: It is highly recommended that three people assist with installation, which typically takes approximately three hours. Always wear gloves during assembly to protect your hands from sharp edges.
- Weather Conditions: For safety and ease of assembly, avoid building in windy conditions.
- Follow Manual: Carefully follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the assembly manual for correct construction. Ensure all panels are securely fastened.
Compatibility
This shed is specifically designed for outdoor use and is compatible with various outdoor environments. It requires a firm, level ground surface for proper installation of the foundation kit and overall stability.
Care & Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Periodically wipe down the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. The protective top coat helps with easy cleaning.
- Check Ventilation: Ensure the four ventilation holes remain clear of obstructions (e.g., leaves, cobwebs) to maintain optimal air circulation inside the shed.
- Door Maintenance: Keep the double sliding door tracks clean to ensure smooth operation. Apply a silicone-based lubricant if doors become stiff.
- Inspect for Damage: Annually inspect the shed for any signs of rust, loose fasteners, or damage, especially after harsh weather. Address any issues promptly to maintain the shed's integrity and longevity.
