The Workshop Warehouse Push Rivets (FIX506) are essential components for automotive enthusiasts and DIY mechanics looking for a reliable, tool-free solution for trim fastening. These black plastic rivets are designed specifically for 8mm hole diameters, making them ideal for securing interior panels, liners, and trim pieces where access is restricted to a single side. While they provide excellent holding strength for standard trim applications, they are single-use components that cannot be reused once removed, so it is recommended to keep spare inventory on hand for future maintenance projects.

No, these push rivets are designed as single-use fasteners. They should be cut or pried out during removal and replaced with new ones.
While they are designed for standard 8mm holes, you should always check your vehicle's specific trim requirements as panel thickness can influence the fit.
No, these are designed for tool-free installation and can be pressed into place by hand.
The head diameter is 10mm, which is designed to provide a clean, aesthetic finish over the 8mm mounting hole.
They are primarily designed for interior trim and light-duty exterior applications; however, they may degrade faster if exposed to harsh UV rays or severe weather for extended periods.
Verify that the hole diameter is exactly 8mm and that no fragments of an old rivet are obstructing the opening.
Ensure the center pin has been pushed completely flush with the head; if the hole is stretched or worn, the rivet may not grip properly.
Before installation, ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris to prevent the rivet from seating incorrectly. Verify that your vehicle's trim holes measure exactly 8mm, as variations in hole size will result in either an insecure fit or difficulty during insertion. To maintain the life of the trim, avoid using harsh chemical solvents near the plastic rivets, as these can cause the material to degrade or discolor over time. Always inspect existing holes for residual pieces of old, broken fasteners before inserting a new rivet to ensure a flush finish.
