Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Preparation: Ensure the floor is level and properly prepared according to the installation instructions. This may involve leveling the floor surface and ensuring the waste pipe is correctly positioned.
- Positioning: Carefully position the shower tray in the desired location, ensuring it sits flush with the floor or is properly supported.
- Waste Connection: Connect the Mira Rapi-Flo waste to the waste pipe, ensuring a watertight seal. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the waste connection.
- Sealing: Seal the edges of the shower tray with sealant to prevent water leakage. Ensure the sealant is appropriate for bathroom environments.
- Testing: Before final use, test the drainage by pouring water into the tray to ensure there are no leaks.
Compatibility
The Mira Flight Low Rectangular Shower Tray is designed to be compatible with standard shower enclosures. It is important to check the dimensions of the tray and your existing or planned shower enclosure to ensure a perfect fit.
Care
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the shower tray with a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads, as these can damage the surface.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect the sealant around the edges of the tray and re-seal if necessary to prevent leaks.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong chemicals, solvents, or bleach, as these can damage the BioCote® technology and the tray's surface.
