FAQs

What size mattress does the King bed frame accommodate?

The King size bed frame is designed to fit a standard King size mattress, typically measuring 150cm x 200cm (5ft x 6ft 6in).

How much weight can the gas-lift support?

The gas-lift mechanism is designed to easily lift and hold the weight of the included premium mattress. Specific weight capacities for the lift are not provided, but it is engineered for standard mattress weights.

Is assembly difficult?

Assembly requires careful attention to the instructions and is best done with two people. While not overly complex, some steps involving the frame and gas-lift require coordination.

How do I clean the velvet upholstery?

Regular vacuuming with an upholstery attachment is recommended. For minor stains, blot with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture and harsh cleaning agents.

What is the return policy for this bed frame?

Please refer to the retailer's specific return policy for details on returns, exchanges, and warranty information.

Can I use my own mattress with this frame?

While the frame comes with a premium mattress, it is designed to accommodate standard mattress sizes. Please check the specific dimensions for your chosen bed size.

What are the dimensions of the headboard?

The headboard is approximately 70 inches (178 cm) high. The width will vary based on the bed size chosen (Small Double, Double, King, Super King).

Troubleshooting

Gas-lift mechanism is stiff or won't lift.

Ensure the mattress is properly seated. Try lifting the mattress slowly by hand a few times to loosen the mechanism. Check that no items are obstructing the mechanism's path.

Bed frame creaks during use.

Check that all bolts and screws are securely tightened. Ensure the bed is on a level surface. If the creaking persists, apply a small amount of lubricant to any connecting joints.

Ottoman storage does not stay open.

Verify that the gas struts are correctly installed and fully extended. Ensure the weight distribution on the mattress platform is even.

Velvet fabric shows marks or discoloration.

Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth. Use a soft brush or vacuum attachment for regular cleaning. For stubborn marks, consult a professional upholstery cleaner.
