Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Genevieve boots remain in prime condition, follow these care steps:
- Weatherproofing: Before the first wear, apply a suede-specific protective spray to create a barrier against moisture and dirt.
- Cleaning: Use a specialized suede brush to remove dried mud or dust. For stubborn stains, a suede eraser is recommended.
- Storage: To prevent the shaft from developing permanent creases or sagging, use boot trees or keep them upright in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid Moisture: As these are suede, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain. If they get soaked, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the material from hardening.
