Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires basic hand tools, typically an Allen key set.
- Ensure your bicycle frame has mounting eyelets at the rear dropouts and the seat stays.
- Attach the lower mounting struts to the frame eyelets using the provided hardware, but do not fully tighten yet.
- Secure the upper mounting arms to the seat stay eyelets or the seat post clamp area as required by your frame geometry.
- Adjust the height of the legs until the rack deck is parallel to the ground.
- Tighten all bolts securely and verify that the rack does not touch the tire.
For maintenance, periodically check that all mounting bolts are tight, especially if you ride frequently on gravel or unpaved roads. The aluminum construction is resistant to rust, but wiping the rack down with a damp cloth after riding in wet conditions will help preserve the matte black finish.
