The Tracer TPMK10 Permanent Marker Kit is designed for tradespeople, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts who require reliable, heavy-duty marking capabilities across a wide range of challenging surfaces. Its standout feature is the 100-hour cap-off technology, which prevents drying during long projects, though users should be aware that the fast-drying permanent ink requires immediate correction if an error is made on non-porous surfaces.

Yes, the ink is specifically formulated to adhere to wet, oily, and dusty surfaces commonly found in construction settings.
The anti-roll design prevents the marker from rolling off slanted surfaces like scaffolding or work benches, reducing the risk of loss or damage.
Yes, the markers use a permanent, fast-drying ink designed for long-term labeling that resists fading and environmental wear.
Yes, the TPMK10 comes with a dedicated carry case that keeps all 10 markers organized and protected during transport.
The front and rear tether points allow you to attach the markers to a lanyard or tool belt, ensuring they are always within reach and preventing them from falling.
Because these are permanent markers, the ink is designed to stay. On some non-porous surfaces, a solvent-based cleaner may remove it, but expect permanent results.
Ensure the cap was fully clicked on. Store the marker tip-down for 30 minutes to re-saturate the nib.
Shake the marker vigorously with the cap on, then press the tip down repeatedly on a hard surface to engage the internal valve.
Wait for the marker to fully dry for 5-10 seconds. If the surface is extremely slick, clean with a solvent before marking.
No specialized setup is required; however, it is recommended to store the markers horizontally in the provided carry case to ensure even ink distribution. To maintain the life of the tips, always replace the cap until it clicks firmly in place when not in active use. For the paint marker, give it a thorough shake for 30 seconds before the first use and depress the tip on a scrap surface to prime the feed. When using on very oily surfaces, wipe away excess surface contamination with a rag before marking to ensure the best bond. The kit is compatible with almost all industrial materials including wire, tile, and treated lumber.
