Troubleshooting

Candle will not stand upright.

Ensure the pick is inserted fully into a firm part of the cake. If the cake is very soft, you may need to create a small, stable base for the pick or use a small amount of frosting to secure it.

Flame is weak or sputtering.

Check for drafts around the cake. Ensure no frosting or debris is obstructing the wick. If the candle has been stored for a long time, the wax quality might be slightly diminished.

Candle melted unevenly.

Ensure the candle is placed away from any heat sources and that the surface it's on is stable. Premium wax aims for an even burn, but external factors can affect this.
