Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your barriers, clear the designated area of debris such as loose gravel or sharp objects that might puncture the fabric. Lay the bags flat against the surface where you intend to block water. If you are stacking them, ensure the surface is level to prevent the barrier from shifting.
For storage, keep the dry, unused barriers in a cool, dark, and dry location to prevent premature activation from humidity. Avoid dragging the bags across rough concrete if they are already wet, as this can wear down the non-woven fabric. Once used, if the water source was clean, you may be able to dry them out slowly for re-use, though environmental conditions dictate the lifecycle of the absorbent core.
