FAQs

Who are the Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Irons designed for?

These irons are designed for adult female golfers looking for game-improvement technology, maximum forgiveness, and enhanced ball speed to help them achieve higher, more consistent shots.

What makes the 'Modern 360-Degree Undercut Cavity' beneficial?

This design increases face flex for faster ball speeds and higher launch. It also uses perimeter weighting and an exposed undercut to boost forgiveness across the face, helping maintain distance on off-center strikes.

How does the 'Progressive Tri-Sole Design' help?

It improves how the club interacts with the turf, promoting cleaner contact. The sole geometry is adjusted throughout the set to help retain clubhead speed and launch angle, even with slightly heavy or low-faced contact.

What is the role of 'Urethane Microspheres'?

These are integrated into the clubhead to absorb unwanted vibrations at impact. This results in a softer, more pleasing feel and sound without compromising the speed and forgiveness of the iron.

Are these irons suitable for beginners?

Yes, their oversized, confidence-inspiring shape and emphasis on forgiveness and higher launch make them very suitable for beginner golfers and those looking to improve their overall game.

What are the shaft and grip specifications?

The irons feature Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 Ladies graphite shafts (40g, High Launch, High Spin) and Lamkin ST Soft Women's Standard grips.

What is the loft of the Pitching Wedge (PW)?

The Pitching Wedge (PW) has a loft of 41° (43° HL Spec).

Troubleshooting

Slightly inconsistent ball flight

Ensure clean grooves on the clubface and consistent swing tempo. The AI-Optimised Face is designed for consistency, but optimal results depend on a solid swing.

Unusual sound at impact

While urethane microspheres enhance feel, ensure no debris is lodged in the clubhead. Clean the clubface and grooves thoroughly. If the sound persists and is concerning, consult a golf professional.

Reduced distance

Check for any obstructions in the club path or on the clubface. Ensure the shaft flex and loft are appropriate for your swing speed. Clean the clubface and grooves for optimal ball-to-face friction.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Maximum forgiveness for off-center hits.
  • Enhanced ball speed and higher launch angles.
  • Improved turf interaction for cleaner strikes.
  • Softer feel and improved sound at impact.
  • Confidence-inspiring oversized shape.

Cons

  • Oversized shape may require adjustment for some golfers.
  • May offer less workability for advanced players.
  • The focus is on game improvement, not blade-like feel.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup: The Callaway Quantum Max OS Women's Irons are designed for immediate play straight out of the packaging. They come equipped with Mitsubishi Chemical Eldio 40 Ladies graphite shafts and Lamkin ST Soft Women's Standard grips, offering a light feel and consistent performance suited for lady golfers.

Compatibility: These irons are specifically designed for adult female golfers and are suitable for a wide range of handicaps, particularly those seeking game-improvement technology. They are compatible with standard golf equipment and accessories.

Care: To maintain the performance and longevity of your Callaway Quantum Max OS irons, regular cleaning is recommended. After each round, wipe the clubface and grooves with a damp cloth to remove dirt, sand, and grass. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the club's finish. Store your clubs in a dry place, preferably in a golf bag with dividers, to prevent scratching and dings.
