Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Prepare the area: Ensure the installation site is level and properly graded for drainage.
- Create a channel: Build a channel in the ground to accommodate the grating and its frame (if applicable).
- Install the frame: Place the frame securely in the channel, ensuring it's flush with the surrounding surface.
- Place the grating: Carefully position the grating within the frame.
- Secure the grating: Ensure the grating is securely in place.
Compatibility
The ACO Galvanised Steel Grating is compatible with most standard drainage systems. It's designed to fit seamlessly into existing setups or be used as part of a new drainage project. Ensure that the grating's dimensions match your existing system or channel.
Care
- Regularly remove debris (leaves, twigs, etc.) from the grating to maintain optimal drainage.
- Clean the grating with water and a mild detergent as needed.
- Inspect the grating periodically for damage or corrosion.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the galvanised surface.
