Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Poly G40-T requires connection to a Microsoft Teams-certified compute appliance (powered by Lenovo). Connect the Poly Studio to the compute appliance via USB. The 8-inch touch console connects to the compute appliance, often via a single USB or Ethernet cable, simplifying wiring. Ensure the compute appliance has network connectivity and is logged into a Microsoft Teams Rooms account.
Compatibility: This system is optimized for Microsoft Teams Rooms. While the Poly Studio component offers USB connectivity, its full feature set, including AI capabilities and touch console integration, is best realized within the Microsoft Teams Rooms environment.
Care:
- Poly Studio Video Bar: Clean the lens gently with a microfiber cloth. For the body, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Touch Console: Wipe the screen with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, use a screen cleaner specifically designed for electronic displays.
- Compute Appliance: Ensure adequate ventilation. Dust regularly with a soft brush or compressed air, following the manufacturer's guidelines for the Lenovo device.
