The Topeak Midloader 3L is an essential frame bag for bikepackers and adventure cyclists who need to distribute weight efficiently by utilizing the frame's internal space. It is designed to carry heavier tools and supplies close to the bike's center of gravity, providing excellent stability for rugged terrain. While it offers superior organization and water resistance, potential buyers should note that its width may interfere with frame-mounted water bottle cages on smaller bicycle frames.

The Midloader can support a maximum load weight of 6.5 kg.
The bag is highly water-resistant and features water-resistant zippers, meaning it will protect your gear from rain and splashes, but it should not be submerged in water.
The bag measures 37.5 x 12 x 6 cm. It is best to measure your bike's front triangle to ensure your frame has sufficient space to accommodate these dimensions without hitting water bottles.
While it is durable enough for long-term use, it is recommended to remove it periodically to clean the frame underneath and check the straps for wear.
The bag is constructed from lightweight, durable Nylon and Polyethylene.
Tighten the hook and loop fasteners and ensure the bag is balanced symmetrically within the frame triangle.
Clean the zipper tracks of dirt and debris; if the material is stuck in the zipper, carefully pull it free while retracting the slide.
To install, simply wrap the hook and loop fasteners around your bike's top tube and down tube, pulling them snug to ensure the bag does not shift while riding. Ensure the bag is centered to prevent rubbing against your knees during pedaling. To care for your Midloader, wipe the exterior down with a damp cloth after muddy rides. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the water-resistant coating. If the bag gets soaked, remove it from the bike and allow it to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
