Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Select your desired fence line.
- Position a post where needed. Ensure the ground is clear of large stones or debris.
- Push the metal spike firmly into the ground. Use the footplate to apply even pressure. For harder ground, a rubber mallet or a gentle hammering motion on the top of the post (avoiding the wire hooks) can assist insertion. Ensure at least 245MM of the spike is embedded in the ground for stability.
- Once the post is stable, attach your electric fencing material (polytape, polyrope, or polywire) to the desired height using the integrated hooks.
- Continue setting posts at appropriate intervals for your fence line.
Compatibility:
These posts are compatible with standard electric fencing components, including:
- Polytape (up to a certain width, check hook size)
- Polyrope
- Polywire
- Standard insulators (if specific hook types are not used)
Care:
- Clean posts periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris, which can improve visibility and reduce wear.
- Inspect posts for any signs of damage, such as cracks, especially after strong weather events.
- Store unused posts in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prolong their lifespan.
