The Silverline Plunge Router accepts 1/2" router bits.
Use the spindle lock to hold the shaft and use the appropriate wrench to loosen and remove the old bit. Insert the new bit and tighten the collet, ensuring the bit is secure.
The soft-start feature reduces the initial jolt when starting the router, providing greater control and accuracy.
The parallel guide is for straight cuts, the roller guide provides smooth edge following, the circle guide is for making circles, and the template guide is for following templates.
Use the plunge depth adjustment and the fine adjustment dial for precise depth control.
After each use, disconnect the router from the power supply. Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Do not use liquids or solvents to clean the router.
Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection. Ensure the material is securely clamped. Do not force the router through the material. Keep hands away from the bit.
Check the power supply and ensure the power cord is securely connected. Check the power switch and make sure it is in the ON position.
Reduce the speed, use a sharper bit, and feed the router at a slower, more consistent rate. Ensure the bit is appropriate for the material.
Check the router bit and collet for damage or debris. Ensure the bit is properly secured. If vibration persists, consult a qualified technician.
