Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal performance, ensure you are using a compatible PZ or Phillips drive bit that fits snugly into the screw head to prevent cam-out. While the screws are designed to drive into wood easily, using a pilot hole is recommended when working near the edges of a board or with extremely dense hardwoods to prevent splitting. To maintain the life of the screws in high-moisture environments, avoid using damaged or stripped screws, as any compromised coating may allow rust to form. Always store these in a dry container to preserve the yellow finish.
