Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The PRO LT Dropper Seatpost requires proper installation, including connecting the cable for actuation. For internal routing, ensure your frame has the necessary internal routing ports and guides. For external routing, the cable will run along the frame's downtube. Secure the cable at both the lever and the seatpost mechanism according to the manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the seatpost is clamped securely in the frame at the desired initial height.
Compatibility: This seatpost is compatible with mountain bikes featuring seat tube inner diameters of either 30.9mm or 31.6mm. Verify your frame's seat tube diameter before purchase. It supports both internal (frame-guided) and external (frame-mounted) cable routing, offering flexibility based on your bike's design.
Care: Regular cleaning is recommended. Wipe the seatpost stanchion with a clean, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris after rides, especially in wet or muddy conditions. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. Periodically check cable tension and lubricate the cable housing if necessary to ensure smooth operation. Ensure the seatpost clamp remains tight.
