This sander is designed for Ø150mm (6-inch) hook-and-loop sanding discs.

The 9mm orbit size is specifically chosen for car body repairs to provide a balance between material removal and a smooth, swirl-free finish.

The sander features a 6-stage variable speed control dial, typically located near the trigger or on the main body, allowing you to select speeds from 3200 to 7200 RPM.

While it can sand wood, its design and orbit size are optimized for automotive body repairs. For heavy-duty woodworking, a sander with a larger orbit or different function might be more suitable.

The sander is supplied with a Ø150mm hook-and-loop backing pad, a side handle, spare carbon brushes, and a hex key.

This is a corded sander that operates on a 230V mains power supply and includes a 5-meter cable.

Ensure the backing pad and sanding disc are properly attached and that the disc is not damaged. Check for any loose components or damage to the tool. Excessive vibration could also indicate internal wear.

Verify that the hook-and-loop backing pad is clean and free from debris. Ensure the sanding disc is also clean and designed for hook-and-loop attachment. The pad may need replacing if the hooks are worn out.
