Cake drums are approx. 12mm in thickness, which makes them ideal for novelty cakes and sponges and larger fruit cakes and wedding cakes. These silver cake drums are of the highest quality. The silver drums consist of an embossed silver foil top surface with wrapped edges and a white paper underside. These cake drum boards are made in the UK. We would always recommend that you give the board a gently wipe before use. Please bear in mind. Cake drums are traditionally hand finished so please allow a certain amount of variation in size and finish. Small folds, creases, scratches bends and dents are features that can occasionally found in the hand finished products. These faults that can occur are not considered faults.
