Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Panama hat remains in excellent condition, always handle it by the crown rather than the brim to prevent misshaping or cracking the straw. When not in use, store the hat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally on a hat stand or in a hat box to maintain its form. If the hat gets wet, shake off excess water gently and allow it to air dry naturally away from artificial heat sources. Do not attempt to fold or crush this hat, as the natural straw fibers are not designed for packability. Clean the hat occasionally by lightly dusting it with a soft, clean brush or a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
