The Create Cartridge Pad is designed for artists and students seeking a high-quality paper for drawing and sketching. Its key benefit is the thick, matte 165gsm paper that handles various dry media well, offering a smooth surface for detailed work. A potential caveat is that it is primarily suited for dry media and may not perform as well with heavy wet media applications.

The 165GSM weight provides a substantial thickness that helps prevent most dry media from bleeding through to the next sheet and offers a durable surface for drawing and blending.
This pad is best suited for dry media. While some alcohol markers might work with minimal ghosting, it is not ideal for extensive marker use, which can cause bleed-through and ink saturation.
Yes, the paper is acid-free, which is crucial for archival quality as it prevents yellowing and degradation over time, preserving your artwork.
The pad contains 25 sheets of A4 size, 165gsm cartridge paper.
Store the pad flat in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and moisture to maintain the paper's quality and prevent damage.
You can use light washes of watercolor or ink, but be aware that the paper may warp or absorb the liquid. It's not designed for heavy wet media applications.
The spiral binding is designed to allow the pad to lay flat, minimizing obstruction. You can also fold the cover back completely to draw on an open spread.
This pad is designed for dry media. If you are using light wet media, use sparingly and consider a heavier paper or a dedicated watercolor pad. Ensure the paper is stored flat.
Ensure you are using the correct side of the paper (both sides are generally similar). The matte surface should provide good grip; check if the paper has been contaminated with oils from hands.
Ensure you are tearing along the perforated edge. Hold the page firmly and tear with a decisive motion. If issues persist, it may be a manufacturing anomaly; try a different section of the pad.
Setup: This pad requires no setup. Simply open it to the desired page.
Compatibility: The 165gsm cartridge paper is compatible with a wide range of dry art supplies including:
*Note: While suitable for light watercolor or gouache washes, extensive use of wet media is not recommended as the paper may warp or absorb too much liquid.*
Care: Store the pad in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent paper degradation. Keep the cover closed when not in use to protect the pages. Clean the surface of the pad with a dry or slightly damp cloth if necessary, avoiding excessive moisture.
