Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install, prepare a solid foundation of sub-base material topped with a leveled sand or grit layer. Because the stones are irregular, you must use a strong mortar mix to secure them in place and fill the voids between them. Ensure you account for proper drainage by maintaining a slight slope away from any structures. For long-term care, lightly scrub the stone with a stiff-bristled brush and mild soapy water to remove moss or debris, and avoid using high-pressure washers, which can degrade the natural surface or damage the mortar joints over time.
