Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
Setting up your Christmas Tree World Mountain Pine is designed to be straightforward thanks to its `easy to assemble` features.
- Assemble the Stand: Fully open the metal stand on a flat, stable surface. Tighten the screws on the stand to secure the legs in place.
- Insert Tree Sections: Insert the bottom pole section of the tree into the assembled stand. Ensure it is firmly seated and upright.
- Attach Branches: This tree features `colour-coded hook-on branches`. Match the branch codes (e.g., 'A', 'B', 'C') to the corresponding slots on the tree pole sections. Start from the bottom section and work your way up.
- Shape the Branches ('Fluffing'): Once all branches are attached, carefully begin to shape and fluff each branch. Fan out the smaller tips, bending and arranging them to fill any gaps and create a full, natural appearance. Take your time with this step, as it significantly impacts the tree's final look.
- Add Lights and Decorations: Once the tree is fully shaped, you can proceed to string your lights and hang your ornaments.
Compatibility
This Christmas tree is specifically designed for indoor use only. It is not suitable for outdoor display as exposure to elements like rain, snow, or direct prolonged sunlight can damage the materials and compromise its longevity.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures your Mountain Pine tree remains beautiful for many holiday seasons.
- Cleaning: To clean the tree, gently dust the branches before or after decoration. For stubborn spots, a slightly damp cloth can be used on the PVC tips. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Disassembly: To take down the tree, remove all decorations and lights. Unhook the branches from the pole sections, starting from the top. Then, disassemble the pole sections and fold the stand.
- Storage: Store the tree in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The original box is ideal for storage, or you can use a dedicated artificial tree storage bag. Ensure all parts are clean and completely dry before packing away to prevent mold or mildew.
