Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Dressed
Given the structured bustier, it is best to step into the gown rather than pulling it over your head to protect the shape of the cups. Ensure the back zip is fully open before entry, and utilize the help of another person to zip it carefully to avoid catching the delicate chiffon in the zipper teeth.
Care Instructions
- Cleaning: This garment must be professionally dry-cleaned. Do not attempt to wash in a home machine or hand wash, as water and detergents can damage the silk fibres and structure.
- Storage: Hang the dress using the integrated hanger loops in a garment bag to protect it from dust and potential snagging in your closet. Do not use metal clips that could puncture the chiffon.
- Travel: When traveling, use a garment bag. If the gown becomes wrinkled, use a professional-grade handheld steamer from a safe distance, moving in a vertical motion to smooth the chiffon without applying direct heat to the silk.
