Yes, the Kew Regency is frost-proof, making it suitable for outdoor use throughout the winter months.
This product comes with a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Yes, however, ensure you have appropriate drainage to prevent waterlogging your plant's roots.
Use rubber shims or leveling feet under the base to balance the planter on irregular patio surfaces.
Drill drainage holes in the base or utilize a layer of expanded clay pellets at the bottom to manage water levels.
Wipe the exterior clean with a soft, dry cloth; the galvanized steel is rust-resistant, but mineral deposits can sometimes settle on the finish.
To set up your planter, ensure it is placed on a flat, even surface to prevent wobbling. If you require drainage, you may need to drill small holes in the bottom of the steel casing; always use a metal-rated drill bit if choosing this route. For maintenance, clean the exterior periodically with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive chemicals or metal scourers, as these may scratch the hand-finished surface. During exceptionally harsh winter spells, while the planter is frost-proof, bringing it into a shed or greenhouse can further protect the integrity of the brass finish over many years of use.
