Setup, Compatibility & Care
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. For porous surfaces, a damp sponge can help with adhesion. For very dusty or unstable surfaces, consider a primer.
Mixing: Mix the filler with clean water to achieve a smooth, lump-free paste. The consistency should be firm but workable. Refer to the product packaging for specific water-to-filler ratios.
Application: Apply the filler using a filling knife or trowel. Press firmly into the repair area to ensure good contact and fill the void completely. Smooth off the surface for a neat finish.
Drying & Overcoating: Allow the filler to dry thoroughly. It can be overcoated with any water-based masonry paint or mineral paint after 24 hours. If using polyurethane or epoxy solvent-based paints, a coat of water-based exterior paint must be applied first as a primer.
Compatibility: Compatible with gypsum plaster, old painted surfaces, cement, concrete, breeze blocks, bricks, stone, glass, and glazed tiles.
Care: Store in a cool, dry place in its original, sealed container. Protect from frost. Clean tools immediately after use with water.
