The Irwin Mouse Sanding Sheet Set is an essential accessory for DIY enthusiasts and professionals using detail sanders, offering a versatile range of grits to tackle everything from rough surface preparation to final finishing touches. By leveraging a high-performance design that minimizes gaps for faster material removal and improved dust extraction, these sheets provide a professional-grade finish across various wood and composite materials. While the set offers excellent variety, users should note that these are specifically designed for 'mouse' or detail-style sanders, making them unsuitable for large orbital or belt sanding tools.

The set includes 3 sheets of K80, 2 sheets of K120, 2 sheets of K180, and 3 sheets of K240.
No, it is specifically designed for the 'mouse' shape. Please check if your sander model is compatible with the listed B+D, Stanley, or Bosch models.
While effective on wood, these sheets are optimized for woodwork. Use on metal will cause the grit to wear down significantly faster.
Change the sheet when you notice a significant decrease in material removal rate or if the surface of the abrasive appears shiny and smooth.
No, these sanding sheets are not intended to be washed or reused after the abrasive grit has been exhausted.
Ensure the sanding pad surface is free of dust before attaching. If the pad is worn, the hook-and-loop fibers may need replacement.
Reduce downward pressure on the sander. Excessive pressure generates heat, which can cause the finish to gum up the abrasive surface.
Verify that the perforations on the sanding sheet are perfectly aligned with the suction holes on the sander base.
To install, ensure your sander's base is clean and free of debris. Align the perforations on the sheet with the holes on the sanding pad and press firmly to engage the Velcro. This set is fully compatible with the Black+Decker Mouse line (including models KA161, KA168, KA1000, KA2000, and BEW230), the Stanley FatMax FMCW210, and the Bosch Primo. For long-term care, store unused sheets in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and grit. If the sanding sheet begins to clog, lightly tapping the sander while running or using a sanding cleaning stick can help recover performance.
