The Learning Resources Play Money UK Assortment is designed for primary school-aged children, teachers, and parents seeking an effective tool to teach financial literacy and basic numeracy. It offers the key benefit of realistic, HM Treasury-approved currency design, which helps children build confidence in identifying and calculating money. One caveat to keep in mind is that while the scale and artwork are highly realistic, these items are strictly for educational use and do not hold any real monetary value.

Yes, this set is specifically designed for classroom activities and is approved by the HM Treasury for such use.
Use the tails side artwork as a key for identification and practice matching exercises before starting complex math problems.
Establish a cleanup routine at the end of every play session to ensure all 60 pieces are accounted for in their designated container.
There is no complex setup required for this product; simply distribute the notes and coins as needed for your lesson plan. Because the set is meant to be used frequently by children, durability is a key priority. To maintain the set, store the items in a dedicated container after each session to prevent loss. If the notes or coins become dusty or sticky, use a slightly damp cloth to wipe them clean and ensure they are thoroughly dry before returning them to storage to prevent damage to the paper components.
