Dormer HSS M3 Spiral Flute Threading Tap is designed for high performance thread production in a wide range of stainless steels. The back taper facilitates chip evacuation, reducing chipping on the last threads and lowering torque during tap reversal. It features a 40° spiral flute, back taper, HSS-E powder metallurgy steel, and steam tempering. This tap conforms to DIN37112 standards and has a tapping tolerance of 6H. The chamfer is C 2-3. Key specifications include a diameter of M3, a thread pitch of 0.5mm, and an overall length of 56mm. It is a single-piece machine tap with a shank diameter of 3.5mm. The tapping tolerance is 6H.
