Setup, Compatibility & Care
- Preparation: Measure and mark the locations for the dowels accurately on both pieces of wood.
- Drilling: Use a drill and a drill bit that matches the dowel's diameter (14mm). Drill straight, clean holes to the correct depth.
- Assembly: Apply wood glue to the inside of the holes and the dowels themselves. Insert the dowels, ensuring they are flush with the surface.
- Clamping: Use clamps to hold the pieces together until the glue dries completely. Follow the glue manufacturer's instructions.
Compatibility: This pine dowel is compatible with most wood types.
Care: Avoid excessive moisture exposure. If the dowel is scratched, it can be sanded and refinished. Protect the wood with appropriate finishes such as varnish or paint.
