Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To use these screws, ensure you have a Pozidriv screwdriver or drill bit that matches the `PZ2` size, which is standard for this screw diameter. Pre-drilling pilot holes in harder woods is recommended to prevent splitting and facilitate easier driving. The double countersunk head design means the screw will self-countersink into softer woods to a degree, but for a perfectly flush finish, a countersink bit can be used on the pilot hole.
Compatibility: These screws are designed specifically for use with wood. They are compatible with most standard power drills and screwdrivers equipped with a Pozidriv bit. They are not intended for use in metal or masonry.
Care: Due to their stainless steel nature, these screws require minimal care. However, to maintain their appearance and optimal performance over time, especially in harsh environments, occasional inspection for debris is advisable. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth if necessary.
