Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Ensure the wall surface is clean, dry, and smooth. Any imperfections should be filled and sanded.
- Apply wallpaper paste directly to the wall where the first strip will be hung.
- Hang the first strip, ensuring it is perfectly vertical using a spirit level.
- Paste the wall for subsequent strips, matching the 64cm offset pattern repeat with each new length.
- Smooth the wallpaper onto the wall using a wallpaper brush or smoother, working from the center outwards to remove air bubbles.
- Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board using a sharp knife and straight edge.
Compatibility:
This wallpaper is suitable for most interior walls. Ensure the surface is properly prepared. It is not recommended for areas with extreme humidity unless the underlying wall is appropriately sealed.
Care:
- Cleaning: This wallpaper is washable. Use a clean, damp cloth to gently wipe away marks. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Lightfastness: Features good lightfastness, meaning it should resist fading from normal indoor light exposure.
- Removal: The wallpaper is strippable, allowing for easier removal when you decide to redecorate. Peel from the seam upwards.
