Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Hot Tuna Retro Quad Skates typically come pre-assembled. Ensure laces are tied securely for a snug fit before use. It is advisable to check that all wheels spin freely. For optimal performance and safety, consider adjusting the trucks (the metal components connecting the wheels to the boot) to suit your preference; tighter trucks offer more stability, while looser trucks allow for easier turning.
Compatibility: These skates are designed for general recreational use on smooth, flat surfaces. They are compatible with standard skate park pathways and paved trails. They are not recommended for use on wet surfaces, gravel, or uneven terrain.
Care: To maintain your skates, regularly wipe down the boots with a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Avoid using harsh cleaning chemicals. Periodically check wheel bearings for debris and ensure they spin freely. Store the skates in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prevent material degradation.
