Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Remove the shoes from their packaging.
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded correctly through all eyelets. For a secure fit, double-knot the laces once tied to prevent them from coming undone during activity.
- First Fit: Have your child try on the shoes with the type of socks they typically wear. Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between their longest toe and the end of the shoe, and that the shoe feels snug but not tight around the midfoot.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Specifically designed for little kids (children's sizes).
- Activity: Ideal for daily wear, active play, school, and light sports activities.
- Surfaces: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use on various surfaces due to its rugged tread.
Care
Regular care will help maintain the shoe's appearance and extend its lifespan. Given the textile upper and synthetic sole:
- Regular Cleaning: After outdoor play, gently tap the soles together to remove loose dirt. For the textile upper, use a soft-bristled brush (like an old toothbrush) to gently brush off dried mud or dirt.
- Spot Cleaning: For stubborn marks, mix a small amount of mild soap (like dish soap) with warm water. Dampen a soft cloth or sponge with the solution and gently wipe the affected areas. Avoid saturating the shoe.
- Rinsing: Use a clean, damp cloth (with just water) to wipe away any soap residue.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. You can stuff them with paper towels to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Odor Control: If odors develop, remove the insoles (if removable) and air them out. Shoe deodorizers or baking soda can also be used inside the shoes overnight.
- Storage: Store shoes in a cool, dry place when not in use.
