Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up the bit, ensure your router is unplugged, then insert the shank firmly into the collet, leaving about 1/8 inch of clearance from the bottom to allow for heat expansion. Always verify that the guide bearing rotates freely before engaging the power.
Compatibility: This bit features a standard shank size compatible with most handheld trim routers and laminate trimmers.
Care: To maintain the longevity of your bit, store it in a protective case to prevent edge chipping. Clean resin buildup from the bit using a dedicated blade cleaner after every heavy project, and periodically check the guide bearing to ensure it is not seized or packed with sawdust.
