Mountfield SP41 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawn Mower

The SP41 uses unleaded petrol.

Refer to the owner's manual for the recommended oil change intervals, usually after the first 5 hours of use and then annually.

Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and tap it gently to remove debris. Do not use water or solvents.

You can sharpen the blade with a file or take it to a professional for sharpening.

The self-propelled feature assists on slopes, but avoid very steep inclines. Always mow across a slope rather than up and down.

The cutting height can be adjusted from 25mm to 70mm.

Drain the fuel, clean the mower, and store it in a dry place. Consider removing the spark plug and adding a small amount of oil to the cylinder.

Check fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter. Try the autochoke.

Check the blade for damage or dullness. Ensure the cutting deck is level. Adjust the cutting height if needed.

Check the drive belt for wear or damage. Ensure the wheels are free of obstructions.

Avoid cutting wet grass. Ensure the discharge chute is not blocked.
