Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Preparation: Ensure the wall area where the splashback will be installed is clean, dry, and free from any loose debris. Check that the wall is also level.
- Marking: Using the splashback as a template or by measuring, mark the positions for the fixing holes on the wall. The splashback comes pre-drilled, so align it carefully.
- Drilling: Drill holes at the marked locations, using appropriate wall plugs for your wall type (plugs may or may not be included, check packaging).
- Mounting: Position the splashback against the wall, aligning the pre-drilled holes. Insert the provided screws through the splashback and into the wall plugs.
- Finishing: Attach the decorative caps over the screw heads for a neat finish. Ensure the splashback is securely fastened.
Compatibility:
This splashback is designed for use with standard vanity units and bathroom sinks. It is suitable for installation over painted, wallpapered, or panelled walls. Ensure the wall surface is solid and capable of supporting the weight of the glass.
Care:
Clean the splashback regularly with a soft, damp cloth and warm, soapy water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the glass surface and any decorative caps. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent water spots.
