High performance multi-material long life Zirconium abrasive for 114mm x 114mm 1/4 Sheet Sanders. Suitable for wood, paint, plaster and metal. Features an 8-hole circular punch pattern for enhanced dust extraction, particularly suited to DeWalt 1/4 sheet palm sanders. Fits all hook and loop base 1/4 Sheet Sanders. Applications include working on narrower flat areas, removal of old finishes, rust removal and metal finishing, heavy stock removal, and primary preparation work. The open coat construction with increased spacing between grit particles reduces clogging and allows fast stock removal, especially on gummy, resinous timbers, fillers, and paint removal. Excels on harder materials, especially metals, with self-sharpening grit that maintains cutting performance. Highly durable Zirconium grit maintains performance 4 times longer than conventional abrasives. Dual resin bonding layers keep the abrasive grit firmly bonded to the backer for increased lifespan. Features hook and loop fixing for fast, secure attachment and easy removal. The coarse, extra-hard grits provide fast cutting, ideal for stripping back old paint finishes, rust removal, and heavy stock removal. The long-lasting film backing is flexible, minimizing cracking and grit loss for durable sanding.
