The MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation N4.8 is a versatile, all-in-one product designed for individuals seeking convenient, buildable coverage with a natural matte finish. It excels at unifying skin tone and controlling shine throughout the day, making it ideal for those with normal to oily skin. While offering excellent coverage and ease of use, achieving the perfect shade match and avoiding a cakey appearance requires careful application and skin preparation.

It provides medium coverage that is buildable to full, allowing you to customize your desired look from natural to more perfected.
Yes, it is particularly well-suited for oily and combination skin types due to its natural matte finish and oil-controlling properties.
Absolutely. It's designed as a 'powder plus foundation,' meaning it offers enough coverage to be used as a standalone foundation without a separate liquid layer.
The 'N' in N4.8 indicates a neutral undertone. To find your best match, consider your skin's undertone (neutral, cool-pink, or warm-golden) and swatch potential shades on your jawline in natural light.
Wash the sponge regularly with mild soap and lukewarm water or a dedicated makeup brush cleanser. Squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely before storing it back in the compact.
While primarily designed for dry application to achieve its powder-plus-foundation effect, some users experiment with a damp sponge for a slightly different finish. However, for optimal performance and longevity as a foundation, dry application is generally recommended.
> Info needed: Check product packaging for specific SPF claims. Typically, makeup alone is not sufficient for adequate sun protection.
Apply less product. Ensure skin is well-hydrated and exfoliated before application. Try a damp sponge or a fluffy brush for a lighter application. Blend thoroughly, especially around the edges of the face.
Thoroughly moisturize and, if necessary, gently exfoliate your skin before applying. Avoid applying too much product to dry areas. Consider using a hydrating primer.
Ensure you are using a primer suitable for your skin type. Set your finished makeup with a good quality setting spray. Blot excess oil throughout the day with blotting papers rather than adding more powder.
The 'N' in N4.8 indicates a neutral undertone. If it looks too warm or cool, you might need a different undertone (e.g., C for cool, W for warm). Always swatch foundation on your jawline in natural light to check for a seamless match.
Use a minimal amount of product in these areas. Ensure your skin is well-hydrated. A blurring or smoothing primer can also help create a smoother canvas.
