The device features a long-lasting lithium-ion battery; recharge it whenever you notice a decrease in motor torque or when the LED indicates low power.
This tool is specifically engineered for tungsten electrodes used in welding; using it on other materials may clog or prematurely wear the grinding surface.
Please check your included package contents; additional grinding wheels are available as consumable accessories.
Different speeds allow you to control the heat and removal rate of the tungsten, preventing the tip from becoming brittle or overheated during the sharpening process.
Yes, it is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery, allowing for complete mobility around your studio.
The automatic alignment guide provides a stop point; when you feel the electrode reach the limit of the guide, the tip is properly shaped.
Reduce the amount of pressure being applied to the electrode; let the tool speed do the work.
Ensure the device is sufficiently charged; battery depletion can affect control interface responsiveness.
Check if the grinding wheel is worn or clogged with metal dust and clean or replace it if necessary.
Before your first use, ensure the unit is fully charged using the provided cable. The tool is compatible with standard tungsten electrodes typically used in jewelry welding. To set up, verify the grinding wheel is securely seated. During use, avoid applying excessive downward pressure, as the motor is designed to do the work; too much force may stall the rotation. Regularly inspect the internal grinding chamber and clear out fine tungsten dust using a soft brush or compressed air. Store the device in a dry environment and keep the charging port clear of metal shavings to maintain longevity.
