Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The PDM32 is configured using AiM's RaceStudio3 software. Users connect the module to a PC via USB to define output functions, current ratings, PWM parameters, and input configurations. Wiring involves connecting power, ground, and the specific circuits to be controlled to the module's terminals. Refer to the official AiM PDM32 manual for detailed wiring diagrams and software configuration guides.
Compatibility: The PDM32 is compatible with most 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems. It can integrate with various ECUs using over 1000 supported protocols. Expansion modules and push-button systems can also be connected for enhanced functionality.
Care: Keep the PDM32 module clean and free from excessive dirt, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Ensure all connections are secure and free from corrosion. Regular visual inspection of wiring and the module itself is recommended. Software updates for RaceStudio3 should be installed as they become available to ensure optimal performance and bug fixes.
