Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Installation: The hood is designed to be integrated into your kitchen cabinetry. Professional installation is recommended, especially for ducted setups.
- Electrical Connection: Ensure the appliance is connected to a suitable power supply (220-240V, 50/60 Hz). Refer to the product manual for detailed wiring instructions.
- Ducting/Recirculation: For ducted extraction, connect the hood to an exhaust vent. For recirculation, install the charcoal filter (sold separately).
Compatibility
The NEFF Integrated Cooker Hood is compatible with most standard kitchen cabinets. Ensure sufficient space is available for the hood's dimensions (402mm (H) x 599mm (W) x 271mm (D)). The minimum distance from an electric hob should be 50 cm, and from a gas hob, 65 cm.
Care
- Cleaning: Clean the stainless steel housing with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Grease Filters: The metal grease filters are removable and washable. Clean them regularly (about once a month) to maintain optimal performance.
- Charcoal Filter (Recirculation): Replace the charcoal filter as recommended in the manual (typically every 3-6 months) to maintain effective odor removal.
