JCB Square Mouth Site Master Shovel - Yellow

This shovel is primarily designed for scooping, shifting, and moving heavy materials like sand and cement. While it can break ground, a pointed-tip shovel is generally more efficient for piercing hard earth.

The square mouth is ideal for scraping flat surfaces clean and for moving larger volumes of loose materials compared to a rounded or pointed shovel.

The tubular steel handle is extremely robust, but always ensure the force is applied through the reinforced socket rather than the middle of the handle for the best leverage.

While the shovel is rugged, prolonged exposure to rain and moisture will lead to rust. We recommend storing it in a dry environment.

It provides a larger surface area to carry more material per scoop, which increases efficiency and reduces the total number of movements required for a task.

Use a wire brush to remove the rust and apply a thin layer of protective oil or specialized anti-corrosion coating.

Check the rivets or fixings connecting the handle to the YD grip; if they have loosened, inspect for damage and ensure they are tightly seated.
