The Play Boosters are designed for playing Magic: The Gathering games, deck building, and are optimized for a fun opening experience.
Collector Boosters offer a more premium experience with higher chances of rare cards, special foil treatments, exclusive card styles, and potentially serialized cards, making them ideal for collectors.
No, a Mystical Archive card is found in every Play Booster, and 3-4 are found in each Collector Booster.
These are two special promo cards included in the bundle, featuring Borderless art and a Traditional Foil treatment.
Card legality depends on the specific Magic: The Gathering format's rules and the set rotation. Check official Magic: The Gathering resources for current format legality.
A Play Booster contains 12 Magic cards, including a mix of rarities and a foil card, plus an art card or special token.
A Spindown die is a 20-sided die commonly used by Magic: The Gathering players to track their life total during a game.
While rare, contact Wizards of the Coast customer support with details of the unopened booster and the missing card(s) for assistance.
Inspect cards immediately upon opening. Contact Wizards of the Coast customer support with photographic evidence of the damage for a potential replacement.
Ensure the die is used on a flat surface. If the die is physically damaged, it may need replacement, though this is uncommon.
Setup: No physical setup is required for this product; it contains trading card game boosters and accessories. Simply open the packs to access the cards and use the included Spindown die during gameplay.
Compatibility: The cards within the Strixhaven: Codex Bundle are designed for use in Magic: The Gathering games. They are legal for play in formats that support the Strixhaven: School of Mages set, such as Standard (if applicable at the time of release), Commander, and Limited formats like Draft and Sealed.
Care: To preserve the condition of your cards, it is recommended to store them in protective sleeves. Keep boosters and loose cards in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Handle cards by their edges to avoid fingerprints and damage. The Spindown die should be kept in a safe place to prevent scratches.
