The Colour Forge Spray Primer in Wight Bone is designed for hobbyists, painters, and model collectors who need a reliable, high-quality base coat for their miniatures. Its primary benefit is providing a smooth, consistent matt finish that preserves intricate surface details, making it ideal for preparing models for base-coating. One caveat to consider is that like all aerosol primers, it should be used in a well-ventilated area or outdoors to avoid inhaling fumes and to ensure optimal drying conditions.

Yes, Wight Bone is a pale, off-white/beige tone, making it an excellent base for lighter-colored schemes or a neutral foundation for general painting.
Yes, this primer is formulated to work effectively on plastic, resin, and metal model components.
While it may feel dry to the touch in minutes, it is recommended to wait at least 30 to 60 minutes to ensure the solvent has fully evaporated and the surface is ready for acrylics.
Aim for a moderate temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius and low humidity for the most consistent, smooth results.
No, if applied in light, thin coats, this primer is specifically designed to be thin enough to preserve even the finest details on modern miniatures.
Yes, as it is an aerosol product, it is flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames during application and storage.
Clear the nozzle by turning the can upside down and spraying for one second, or remove the nozzle and soak it in a small amount of acrylic thinner or warm soapy water.
This often occurs if the can is held too far away from the model, causing the paint to dry in mid-air. Move closer to the model and ensure you are working in a lower-humidity environment.
Ensure the miniature surface is thoroughly cleaned and degreased before priming. If the model is resin, ensure all mold release agents have been washed off first.
To ensure peak performance, shake the can vigorously for at least two minutes before your first spray to ensure the pigments are properly mixed. Always test the spray on a piece of scrap material before applying it to your actual model to verify the flow.
Store the can in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat to maintain the propellant's efficacy. After every use, turn the can upside down and spray for one second to clear the nozzle, which prevents clogging for future sessions. Ensure the models are free of dust or mold release agents before priming for the best adhesion results.
