The ARDO Breast Shells (22mm) are designed for nursing mothers who use an ARDO breast pump and require a more precise, comfortable fit to ensure effective milk expression. These BPA-free silicone inserts are perfect for users seeking to prevent nipple soreness and optimize their pumping efficiency through correct flange sizing. A key caveat to note is that these shells are specifically sized at 22mm, so it is essential to measure your nipple diameter correctly before purchase to ensure they are the right fit for your body.

These shells are specifically engineered for Ardo breast pump systems and may not provide a secure fit on other brands.
Measure the diameter of your nipple at the base (excluding the areola) and add 2-3mm to account for swelling during pumping.
While they are durable, hand washing with mild soap is recommended to prolong the life of the silicone material.
BPA-free means the product is manufactured without Bisphenol A, a chemical that can interfere with hormonal function.
Replace them if you notice any physical damage, loss of flexibility, or if the material begins to feel sticky despite proper cleaning.
Yes, they are designed to withstand regular daily use provided they are cleaned and sanitized according to instructions.
Ensure the shell is seated correctly in the flange and that there is a proper seal between the shell and your skin.
Verify that your nipple diameter is truly suited for a 22mm insert; if it continues to rub, you may need a different size.
Ensure the flange and the shell are both completely dry before insertion to improve the grip of the silicone.
To set up, simply slide the ARDO 22mm shell into your existing Ardo pump flange, ensuring it is seated flush against the surface. These are compatible with standard Ardo breast pump components. For care, wash the shells thoroughly with warm, soapy water after every use. Because they are made of silicone, they can be sterilized in boiling water or a standard steam sterilization system. Inspect the shells regularly for any signs of wear, tearing, or degradation; if the silicone appears cloudy, sticky, or cracked, it is time to replace the inserts to maintain hygiene and suction efficiency.
