Sculptural and expressive, Tom Dixon’s Cloud Vessel is a statement piece that will add allure and intrigue wherever its placed. Crafted from highly reflective polished aluminium, each vessel is hammered into shape by skilled artisans in India. No two are the same, due to the unique nature of the manufacture process. The Cloud Vessel can be used as a centrepiece on dining tables, an opulent champagne bucket or to hold flower arrangements. Present it on its own as a sculptural art piece, serving as a statement finishing touch to your interior styling. Cloud is a family of bulbous and sculptural pieces made of highly reflective polished aluminium. The marks from the maker – every hammer and indentation from stretching and warping the metal are preserved in the final product to reflect the amount of work that’s gone into the design. The organic shapes are reminiscent of seedpods and can be used for a variation of purposes, such as a vase, fruit bowl and champagne bucket. Inspired by the shape of seedpods, each piece is handmade in India by skilled artisans who have shaped the items through controlled hammering and indentations that also impart every object with its own wholly original texture. This silver vessel is additionally unique for its versatility — it may be employed as a vase or simply as a sculptural object, amongst many other uses.
